Certifications/Standards

Our factories in Japan measure up to the highest manufacturing standards in the world. All Inada facilities are fully compliant with certification requirements - ISO 13485:2003. ISO 13485:2003 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to provide medical devices and related services that consistently meet customer requirements and regulatory requirements applicable to medical devices and related services.

Inada massage chairs are also TUV certified. This is a demanding German electrical standard that (as far as we know) no other massage chair brand has obtained. It is a mark of engineering and safety excellence. TUV is acknowledged by many governments as “the” standard in electrical safety, including Australia.

Inada are the only massage chair company in the word who are endorsed as an approved medical device manufacturer (Japanese Ministry of Health, Japanese Government).  Our medical device distributor license No: 31B2X00003.

Of course, all Inada Massage Chairs comply with the relevant Australian Standards including IEC standards, CE & C-Tick.

All Inada massage chair products are also registered in the US with the FDA as Class I medical devices. Here are details regarding Inada USA’s registration:
